Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF)

The Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) is a comprehensive and evidence-based approach developed by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) in the United States. The SPF is designed to guide the assessment, capacity, planning, implementation, and evaluation of effective substance abuse and mental health prevention efforts, while also integrating cultural competence and sustainability into each step.
