NCI presents the first pre-recorded webinar of their webinar series, “Conversations: Putting Research Into Action”, releasing on Tuesday, featuring Dr. Nicola Newton, who shared the findings of her recent article, “The 7-Year Effectiveness of School-Based Alcohol Use Prevention From Adolescence to Early Adulthood: A Randomized Controlled Trial of Universal, Selective, and Combined Interventions”, published in the Journal of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry in 2022. She discussed various alcohol-use preventions in a school setting during adolescence and if the effects of the interventions were sustained over a 7-year period into adulthood.
